Winter warming emergency shelter opens in St. Louis County
As the snow and extreme cold approach, we’re happy to announce that St. Louis County is taking steps to support those in need with emergency shelter options. The Salvation Army has opened a Winter Warming Emergency Shelter at 10740 Page Ave., offering 24/7 support and essential services like hot meals, laundry facilities, and case management. This shelter will be open through March 7, 2025, ensuring a safe place for individuals in need during the colder months.
Additionally, Loaves and Fishes at 2055 Concourse Drive in Westport is providing walk-in day services, including shelter referrals and access to meals, laundry, and hygiene facilities. For more shelter options, you can contact the United Way at 211. S
