Requirements for Application Submission

Beginning January 1, 2023, we will be accepting ONLY electronic plans (see Submitting Electronic Plan Applications for more information).

  • Electronic or digital documents must be sealed in accordance with 20CSR 2030-3.060.
  • If file size is small enough, just email to fireprevention@mehlvillefire.com.
  • If too large to email, provide a download link.

New Commercial or Commercial Addition, Fire Alarm or Fire Protection System

Plans and permit application should be submitted simultaneously with application to St. Louis County.

  1. Electronic copy of plans.
  2. Electronic copy of specifications, if applicable.
  3. Completed Mehlville Fire District Permit application.
  4. Completed Project Cost Breakdown form.

NOTE: Plans without seals and signatures as stated above cannot be accepted.

When St. Louis County issues their permit, provide the following items for us to complete our permit issuance.

  1. One set of St. Louis County approved plans to be returned for job site.
  2. Copy of St. Louis County Permit application.

Fuel Tanks, Other Misc.

  1. Electronic copy of plans.
  2. Electronic copy of specifications, if applicable.
  3. Completed Mehlville Fire District Permit application.
  4. Completed Project Cost Breakdown form.

 

If All of The Material Above is Not Provided, A Delayed Issuance of Your Fire Permit Could Result.
